Almost every tool you point at a revenue goal is built to agree with you. Veritess is built to disagree when the numbers say it should.
You are accountable for a number someone else expects. A board, a client, a founder, a budget you signed off on last quarter. The number lives in a spreadsheet you built, and the spreadsheet agrees with you — because you built it. That is the whole problem: there is no one in the room whose job is to say the goal is not reachable at the assumptions underneath it.
Most planning tools are optimistic by design — an encouraging product retains better than an honest one. We took the other side of that trade. If your goal requires a conversion rate in the top quartile of your industry while your budget buys bottom-quartile traffic, we say so in the first screen, before any chart.
The tree of numbers is the substrate, not the product. A calculator hands you the tree and walks away. We make the call: reachable, a stretch, or hard — and name the single move that changes the answer.
Every number is computed by one deterministic engine and compared against curated ranges for your vertical. No language model produces figures. The ranges are currently directional rather than individually cited, and we say so on the page that explains the method — because a verdict you cannot audit is worth very little.
The full method, the provenance rule, and where it is weak.
Read the methodologyThis is an early build. The interface will change, the benchmark bands are directional, and the product is still earning the right to the verdicts it hands out. We would rather you read that here than discover it later.
